Associated Specialty Contractors is an umbrella organization of nine national associations of construction specialty contractors, whose combined membership totals more than 25,000 firms. The Association’s objectives are to promote effective management and productivity; to enhance contracting types and practices; to coordinate the work of specialized branches with the industry in management info, study, public information, government relations and construction relations; and to serve as a liaison amongst specialty trade associations in the locations of public relations, government relations, and with other organizations.

The Association seeks to avoid unnecessary duplication of effort and expense or conflicting programs amongst affiliates, identify locations of interest and issues shared by members, develop positions and approaches on such issues and interests which are acceptable to all members.
